This area showcases work that I've done at the professional level. Each item has a link that opens that project into a new window, as well as contextual descriptions about the project, and a list of technologies involved in making the project. Be sure to check out the Drawing Board section where you'll find more work that I've done independently!

The Flash Hole

(Wordpress Website)

The Flash Hole is my personal web development blog that chronicles my trials, tribulations, and triumphs as a web developer. It was fashioned in Word Press, which is a CMS I've become quite familiar with.
Wordpress, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, jQuery

Current Fix v2.0

(Wordpress Website)

Current Fix v2.0 is a revamp of a website I created earlier this year. I never got to finish everything I wanted to, so this is my chance to manifest a more complete version of the original concept. The most important things I'm looking to improve upon is SEO design, better content management, easier posting methods, and just more content, period. Another issue I'm looking to resolve is older browser compatibility issues, specifically with Internet Explorer.
Wordpress, Custom Wordpress Plugins, Photoshop, Illustrator, PHP, MySQL, Dreamweaver, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

Looks By Eileen

(Personal Website)

Looks By Eileen is a portfolio site I am currently developing for friend of mine who is currently studying cosmetology. Seeing that this was becoming a lucrative career for herself, she decided it was time to develop her online presence. If you happen to follow the links you will see that she has already begun that process with Facebook and YouTube. My role is to give that presence a professional look and feel across all of her advertising outlets.

The Drink Fix

(Dynamic Website)

The Drink Fix is one of a couple of website projects I'm currently working on. The site is a cocktail drink recipe database where anyone can come in and search for their favorite drinks or discover new ones. The project is really more of an exercise in database-driven data. The most unique feature of the site showcases a customized You Tube video player which was specially designed to fit into the site's look. Not only will visitors be able to look up recipes, but they will also be able to watch them being made!

Current Fix

(Dynamic Website)

CurrentFix.com is my own personal poker blog based on the regular home game that I play in and my online exploits. The site features an integration of XHTML, PHP, MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, and Flash, as well as a personalized content-management-system to allow me to administer my site online. Though some parts are still in need of more development, the end plan is to make this a public venue where thousands of other amateur poker players can join the community in the hopes of improving their game. This is easily my favorite project since it merges two of my favorite passions - web development and poker!
XHTML, PHP, MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, ActionScript 3, Graphic Design, Photoshop, Illustrator

Heart For Home

(Dynamic Website)

Heart For Home is a website currently under development for a non-profit organization seeking to help needy children overseas. Though the site is in need of content, most of the skeleton is already developed. A simple content-management-system was created to help non-web-savvy clients manage their site through the internet. Though the company is still in its infancy the site was created with the future in mind, so when the time comes the site will be able to accomodate thousands of users.

Impact Engine

(Website)

Though this link will take you to Impact Engine's website, the work I did for them really isn't visible at all since my work focused on the internal side of Flash. I spent two months helping their team updating their old Flash ads with newer code and updated features. The work required lots of problem-solving as well as a good understanding of how Flash works.

Brain Forest Digital

(Website)

Brain Forest Digital is a company based in Westlake Village, CA that specializes in producing animatics, usually for 30-second commercials. I worked on and off with this company for about three years. I started off creating and editing visual assets in Photoshop, and eventually moved on to animation and editing with After Effects. When their site was revamped, I created all of the Flash assets which mainly comprised of dynamic thumbnail galleries which were updated through external text files. The site also features Flash Video integration as you will see in their "montage" links.

Total Concept Designs

(Website)

Total Concept Designs was the first live website that I ever made for an interior decorator located in Costa Mesa, CA. The client asked for a site revamp so I ended up taking the original HTML assets and coverted it into a Flash-based site. Because my skills were limited to Flash and HTML, the dynamic client and thumbnail list are currently managed through a text file that is pulled in by Flash. The site also showcases my first foray into PHP development with a message form that sends data directly to the client's email address.

My Old Portfolio Site

(Flash Website)

This is the previous iteration of my portfolio site. I've decided to keep it here because it showcases dynamically-driven 3D in Flash using Papervision3D. The contents and positioning of the flipping cards are all controlled by an external XML file. Although I like how it came out, I decided to use HTML+CSS on my latest portfolio site to make it a bit more "accessible" to the masses.
