The Poker Hand Reader is an application I developed for the purposes of replaying poker hand histories collected from online poker sites. The project is functional at the most basic level, being able to play no-limit hold-em histories from Poker Stars. I am currently working on adding support for all the gaming sites as well as the different games being spread. In addition, I am developing a way for users to create hand histories from scratch so that they can use it as a communication tool for online poker discussion. A real world application of this tool can be found on currentfix.com.

The Poker Prize Splitter is an application designed to quickly give estimates on different ways of chopping prize money. I used this tool on a posting on my website, CurrentFix.com, which is also featured in this portfolio.

Blokus is a very fun game that I chose to be the focus of this flash banner ad mockup. The ad is light and could easily be integrated with one of the many ad-metric services out there. The ad was created from scratch and animated through actionscript.

This small application checks whether or not words inputted into the field are valid Scrabble words. The idea for this came about while playing Scrabble with friends. Little did I know that there was an iPhone application out for this already, I decided that it was time to make a compact scrabble dictionary that could be used on phones. I have since scrapped plans to program this for mobiles!

I got the idea for this tool when I started reading about chess. I had a book that had copious amounts chess notation, and while there were diagrams depicting the action it was difficult for me to follow the chess notation. So I decided to make an application that could read chess notation and animate it.

The Flash Media Player is essentially a Flash Video player. This is a work in progress in which I would like to integrate music playability with the option of displaying dynamic sound wave animation.

The carousel gallery is my introductory experiment into the world of 3D inside Flash using Papervision3D.
